SYDNEY AND MELBOURNE EVENT: The Death of Rational Economics

SYDNEY AND MELBOURNE EVENT: The Death of Rational Economics

The concept of “the rational man” and economically rational decision-making has permeated management and leadership theory and practice for over half a century. More recently, behavioural theories from psychology and sociology have provided more convincing explanations for the decisions made by economic actors. This context will be used to explore the role of psychologists in modern business and the value that they can bring to commerce and commercial enterprise.
