NEWS: Psychology Board of Australia grants National Examination exemption for all higher degree accredited program graduates
SIOPA is very pleased to announce the Psychology Board of Australia has granted a permanent exemption from undertaking the National Examination for all higher degree accredited program graduates, effective immediately.
This is a fantastic win for people who have completed their Organisational Psychology higher degrees!
SIOPA firmly believes the National Examinations should not have been required for graduates who complete Masters or Doctoral Psychology training programs as a pathway to registration. The requirement to complete the National Examination in addition to the extensive training and supervision they have already completed was burdensome and unnecessary. Graduates have already demonstrated their competence through extensive assessments and supervised practice.
