The Society for Industrial and Organisational Psychology Australia is proud to present our upcoming CPD event :

Dr Kragt and Dr Curtis are actively researching leader identity, leaders’ thinking styles, and leadership’s impact on organisational outcomes. In this presentation, they will discuss some of their latest research on leadership and trends in current leadership research. They will outline the implications of this research for leadership assessment, leadership practice, and leadership development.

About the Speakers:

Dr Darja Kragt

Dr Darja Kragt is a Lecturer in Work Psychology at UWA and a leadership consultant, program facilitator, speaker and author. Dr Kragt is passionate about helping individuals and organisations to develop more effective and inclusive leadership. Her unique strengths as a leadership development professional are a superb understanding of research evidence and ability to translate these insights into specific and effective practices. Dr Kragt has designed and facilitated dozens of leadership development workshops and programs for professionals, MBAs and executives in Australia and Europe. Her expertise in research is highly sought after and she regularly conducts industry-funded investigations.

Dr Guy Curtis

Dr Guy Curtis is a Senior Lecturer in Applied Psychology at UWA, where he teaches within the Master of Business Psychology course. Before coming to UWA in 2019, Guy taught in the organisational psychology Masters program at Murdoch for 9 years. He has been conducting research on leadership for over 15 years and has contributed to leadership development and executive education, focusing on leaders’ thinking, influence, and conflict management. Guy is also a multi-award-winning university teacher.
